Transtainer grease - pressurised follower

Transtainer Grease Containers RTM (S) pressurised follower series are specifically designed for the semi bulk storage, transportation and dispensing of all grades of grease.

Features:

• Suitable for both shuttle tanks and static storage.
• A pressurised follower system to provide pumping assistance.
• The flexible follower operates as a flexible wiper, scraping product
from the walls during decanting to minimise residual and cross contamination.
• With air pressure acting on top of the follower, external air-borne contaminants
(dust, moisture, etc) are excluded from the product.
• Minimal residual product, traditionally less than 5-10kg is retained
within the sump and discharge pipe.
• A “pallet” sized footprint, with four-way fork access for easy lifting and
positioning.
• Contents indication (sight gauge) mounted in steel guards to ensure
long and trouble-free operation.
• A coaming is fitted to offer protection to ancillary equipment fitted in
the top shell.
• Heavy duty, robust circular design to ensure maximum service life in
severe operating environments.
• Areas subject to wear, tear and damage are heavily reinforced with
striker and guard plates.

Design Features:
• 3” full bore chrome plated brass ball valve, braced against transport
vibration. Full length side gussets fitted to tyne pockets to minimise
distortion when skewed.
• 2 piece bolted clampband locating the removable top.
• Nyloc nuts used to maximise transport vibration issues.
• Pressure gauge visible through the protective coming.
• Heavy duty lifting lugs on doubler pads welded to the tank shell.
• Hole in clampbands allows water to drain and minimise capillary action
past the gasket.
