All Transtank products above T12 (12 000 litres) are CSC plated and are therefore approved for rail, sea or road transport as a standard high cube shipping container. There is no freight more economical to transport than a shipping container - the world economy is geared for it.

We are approved to the AS1940, AS1692, UL142, CAN/ULC-S601-2007 standard. This is a third party audited manufacturing and testing standard that puts Transtank equipment through a rigorous series of pressure and structural tests.  Transtank equipment is well built, and we can prove it through independent testing and certification.

Our container base design simplifies the foundation requirements on site. All we need is a suitably compacted, flat, level, well drained surface and your pad is ready to take delivery of your Transtank unit. No need for expensive specialized footings and plinths that are required by cylindrical designed units. Mobile Skids are available to be coupled with our tanks for use with winch trucks.

The testing associated with obtaining the structural design certification of a shipping container is substantial to say the least. The Transtank design must be able to withstand up to 8 full containers being loaded on top of the Transtank unit in transit. Transtank equipment is both designed and built tough to suit the unique requirements of the Canadian market.

The Transtank standard specification includes fill point valving, dip sticks, platform, ladder, overfill alarm, overfill valving, anti syphon valving, suction line and isolation valve, front weather resistant security doors.

We use a mixture of our own site staff and tried and proven contractors for design and installation work. Our pumping packages have been carefully engineered for your application. We don't buy from middle men or distributors, our equipment buying power see's us buying equipment direct from manufacturers all over the world.
